Me And My Hobbies
Well if I'm not working, travelling or writing and recording music I have a few other passions I like to indulge in...
Kayaking.

I've always enjoyed canoeing and kayaking and I've even got an inflatable kayak which I kept in Rotterdam with me to explore the waterways and rivers. When at home I've often enjoyed kayaking down the Exeter canal to Turf Locks and back.
Snorkelling.

I love nothing more than to done a wet suit, flippers, face mask and snorkel and go exploring off the Cornish coast or other places of interest. Swimming with a half tame seal wanting to play catch was a very memorable experience off a small cove in Cornwall a couple of Summers ago. It was the Red Sea in Egypt which was the most amazing experience though, like swimming through a limitless tropical tank filled with multi colour corals and fish of every description. In the future I would like to get accredited for diving and start to go deeper.
Rock Climbing.

With my Boreal Rock Slippers, and a Rat Chalk bag I've had many a happy hour soloing short roots around Cornish cliffs and boulders. Dartmoor offers a multitude of challenges for roped and free climbs. Foggintor Quarry, Tavistock and the nearby tors were a favourite of mine when living in Devon, also Hay Tor. Chudleigh Rocks offers exceptional limestone climbs with it's 90ft of sheer faces. Hopes Nose and the Torquay area provide excellent deep water solo opportunities, mad hey?
